Not sure if everyone seen this - might be of interest for people in the habit buying stuff from overseas (such as J&P Cycle)
A couple of years ago a whole bunch of Harley aftermarket companies were bought out/banded together. The Company is known as MAG which stands for Motorcycle Aftermarket Group. Apparently the bite was too big to chew because they have now claimed Chapter 11 bankruptcy. From what I am told it will be business as usual but they will have sold off $300,000,000.00 of their stock to accommodate the move.
Retail Stores include J&P and the Motorcycle Superstore. While this is not a big deal really, where they get their stock is.
Wholesale companies/brands include:
Answer Racing
Bikers Choice
Bikemaster
Black Brand
Bully Locks
Burly Brand
First gear
Dragonfire Racing
Kuryakin
MS Racing
Mustang Seats
Performance Machine
Powersports
Progressive Suspension
Pro taper
Quad Boss
Roland Sands Design
Renthal
Skid Lid
SS Gear
Twin Power
Vance & Hines
Xtreme Machines
Yes...ALL of these companies are now in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. I would expect to see some of them to go away as the result of this even though they now say it won't happen.
